Are staff members allowed to assist with personal care?
No. With Open Arms Home Companion Services offers only accompaniment and assistance which includes homemaking, errands, travel companionship, light housekeeping, and other non-medical duties. Staff members are not allowed to do on hand personal care such as bathing, feeding, body sanitation, or other duties that a licensed caregiver is responsible for. We are in place to assist, not to replace the caregiver. Call us for additional information on how we can help you.
What types of payment methods do you accept?
Most methods are accepted. Credit and Debit Cards- Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Cashiers Checks and Money Orders. Checks (If verified by your banking institution). We are private pay only.
Can my assigned companion pick up my groceries for me?
Yes. Picking up groceries on behalf of our clients upon request is one of many duties we perform at With Open Arms Home Companion Services. We would also be happy to accompany our clients while retrieving groceries in the store. Assistance and accompaniment are a huge part of what we do.
